While Morrowind has got smaller land to explore even with the expansions then oblivion with out expansions I thought Morrowind felt bigger with the amount of guilds and all joinable guilds had its own missions not just conprising of 1-3 missions for the smaller guilds like oblivion. and that the lands varyed in morrowind from a volcanio, no mans land, swamps to the expansion packs of snow and forest while oblivion only had swamp, forest and snow and the expansion was really adding high lands and more swamp. and the vampires in morrowind were more complex and had more advantages whil there were more disadvantages while with oblivion i barely noticed the vampireism

Actually the Vvardenfell landmass (excluding seas around it) seem just as big as Cyrodiil's when you compare the heightmaps. (Cyrodiil seems bigger because you can see distant lands from other provinces, but you can't actually cross the border).
When you add Solstheim and Mournhold, it's bigger, though with Shivering Isles, Oblivion is clearly the largest in terms of landmass.
Overall Morrowind is bigger. There are more NPCs, more dialog options, more inventory items, more factions and more quests.
Plus the landscape is also harder to explore, so that makes it seems bigger too.
